INTRODUCTION
This is an attempt to referentially identify the body of work surrounding practical occultism (ignoring speculative cosmology, morality, and counselling). The academic might benefit most from the bibliographical data.
The information contained within this website attempts to emulate a relational database, searchable by SUBJECT (magic, divination, and general occult activities), AUTHOR (alphabetic listing of *last* names), TITLE (alphabetic listing of original title), and MEDIUM (books, periodicals, and online), interwoven for facility of reference.

PRACTICAL OCCULTISM
After many years of study and some years of practice of the arcane arts, my focus of interest and perpetuating reference efforts have narrowed to the twin operative categories of magic and divination. Magic considered herein qualifies as it employs tools to effect change toward desire at a distance using symbolism to leverage increased probability of manifestation. Divination, comparably, can take any form, and primarily attempts to derive information or sounding from an Oracle or through the use of common devices such as bones or cards.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
